Sheridian Aiken, SPHR
Sheridian Aiken, SPHR, has over 30 years in Human Resources, working on various HR projects and initiatives, both tactical and strategic. She led one organization through a major acquisition, two operating location closures, and the integration of new locations. She has supported several operating locations through change management as they were acquired, adapting to a new culture and systems.
Sherry brings a diverse strategic background in both labor and non-union organizations. In addition, she has a strong background in recruitment, training, and strategic planning, including succession, performance, and talent development. In her career, Sherry has had responsibilities for multiple operating locations and provided leadership support.
Sherry holds a Master’s Degree in Leadership from SUNY Plattsburgh, a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from the College of Saint Rose, and is Greenbelt Certified by Solving Efeso. Sherry has held numerous roles as a leader and a member of the Workforce Investment Board, Adirondack Chamber of Commerce, and is a member of the Capital District Human Resources Association and Society for Human Resource Management.
Sam Wise, SHRM-CP, aPHR (they/he)
HR Project Team Lead
Sam brings over 15 years of experience in social services, childcare management, and the culinary industry. In 2020, they committed to pursuing their passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion by formally launching their career in Human Resources. Before joining Clarity HR Solutions, Sam worked with one of the largest non-profit organizations in Arizona, where they served as the primary point-of-contact for HR, designed and facilitated DEI training, and guided the organization-wide pandemic response. Sam brings a strong background in employee relations, learning and development, and auditing.
A recent transplant to the Albany area by way of Arizona, Sam originally hails from central Texas. They are very excited to experience “seasons.” Sam is a lover of Texas A&M football and Manchester City soccer. They will gladly discuss world soccer with anyone foolish enough to bring it up.
Sam is currently pursuing their Bachelor of Business Administration through the Eller College of Business at the University of Arizona. They are also obtaining their Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification with the hopes of continuing through to their Black Belt. Sam is a member of the Capital Area Human Resources Association and the Society for Human Resources Management.
